็ำHealthy menu : Chinese Cabbage soup with Minced pork ,eggs and seaweed

INGREDIENTS for 2 servings
- 1 Chinese cabbage (Separate it in 2 parts,the hard one and the soft one)
- 50 gram of Minced pork
- 2 clas of eggs
- Seaweed
- 2 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 2 1/2 cups of boiled water

This picture show the hard and soft part of the Chinese cabbage that you will separate.


METHOD

So easy : Drop everything in the pot from the hard ingredients to the soft one.
1.Bolied the 2 1/2 cup of water.
2.Put the minced pork into the pot , wait until the water reach the boiling point again.
3.Put the hard part of the Chinese cabbage into the pot , wait until the water reach the boiling point again.



4.Put the fish sauce and soy sauce into the pot , wait until the water reach the boiling point again,taste the soup.
5.Put the eggs ,wait until the water reach the boiling point again.
6.Put the soft part of the Chinese cabbage into the pot , wait until the water reach the boiling point again.



7.Put the seaweed ,wait until the water reach the boiling point again.

Finish!!
It's so easy and is a healthy menu.I think you'll like it.

Thai omelet

INGREDIENTS(for 2 servings)
- 2 clas of eggs
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce

METHOD
1.Mix and beat the eggs in the bowl by a fork.
2.Mix soy sauce and fish sauce into the beated eggs
3.Prepare the frying pan and 2 tablespoon of Soybean Oil
4.Fried the eggs in the frying pan

Serve while it's hot

Fried pork with garlic and pepper

INGREDIENTS(for 2 servings)
- 200 grams of pork
- Many piece of garlic
- 2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce

METHOD
1.Slice the pork to small piece ( 4-5 cm long , 1 cm thick)
2.Slice the garlics into tiny pieces
3.Mix pork with garlic,pepper,soy sauce and fish sauce
4.Wait for the ingredients permeate into the pork for 1/2 hour.
5.Fried the pork in the frying pan until the pork color change into light brown.

Thai Steamed eggs

INGREDIENTS
1.One clas of egg
2.Minced pork 1 tablespoon
3.Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
4.Fish sauce 1/4 teaspoon
5.Water 1/4 cup

Method
1.First,mix Soy sauce and Fish sauce together in the heatable bowl.
2.Then fill the bowl with the egg.
3.Beat the ingredient by a fork until fluffy.
4.Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bowl , mix the ingredients well.
5.Put the bowl into steam(about 15 minutes)

Serve while it is hot.

Chao Phraya Express Boat,the convenient and fun way to travel in Bangkok.

When I was young.I love to travel by the Chao Phraya Express Boat.

The Chao Phraya Express Boat is a transportation service in Thailand that operates on the Chao Phraya River. It provides riverine express transportation between stops in the capital city of Bangkok and to Nonthaburi.The traveller can appreciate the beauty of wooden boats and see the beautiful view along 2 sides of Chao Phraya river.

Service time is 6:00 am to 7:30 pm in weekdays and 6:00 am to 6:40 pm in weekends and holidays. You can choose what kind of boat that you like,depend on what pier you want to stop by.

- The boat with no flags(Local Line Boat) : These boats will stop at every little piers. Current prices = 9 baht
- The boat with orange flags (Express Boat) : These boats will stop at the piers that people more want to go.Current prices = 13 baht
- The boat with Yellow Flag : These boats will stop at the big piers that most people want to go.Current prices = 18, 27 bath
- The boat with Green-Yellow Flag : These boats will stop only Pakkret to Sathorn piesr.Current prices = 30 bath

The Chao Phraya river is a major river in Thailand.If you come to Bangkok(the capital city of Thailand).,I recommend tour boat along Chao Phraya river,you will appreciate the beautiful landscape alond the sides,especially in the time of sunset.

Ko Kret,The famous small island in Nonthaburi Province,Thailand

My family had a trip to Ko-Kret on December 2009.

Ko Kret is an island in the Chao Phraya river, to the north of Bangkok, Thailand, and belongs to Amphoe Pak Kret. The island is only reachable by boat, usually from the Wat Sanam Nau Pier. There are also boat tours around the island.You can reach Wat Sanam Nau Pier by many way.

1.Via Chao Phraya Express Boat (a transportation service in Thailand that operates on the Chao Phraya River) for green-yellow flag trip on its entire route from Pakkret to Sathorn.

2.Via the Bus to Pak-Kret station

At Wat Sanam Nau Pier,there were a lot of people that wanted to go to Ko-Kret that day

On the island there are several temples (wat), such as Wat Poramai Yigawat.



There are so many famous things at Ko-Kret and make Ko-Kret the most popular tourist target in Nontaburi province.Such as the unique food Tot-man-nor-ka-la(fried fish patty) shop in this picture.



The famous potteries and earthenwares that contain water,coffee and milk for sale.This picture I bought a cup of milk in a Doraemon-style pottery.



Ko Kret island located at Nonthaburi Province, very close to Bangkok.I think it's one interesting place to visit via boat trip along Chao Phraya river in Thailand.

Thai Floating market at Amphawa ,samut songkhram

After check-in at Baan Amphawa Resort & Spa , our plan was go to the famous floating market for dinner and then go to see the Firefly (Glow-worm-Lightening bug) via a boat along Mae Klong River.

There were many interesting things around the floating market (Thai word call : Tarad Naam Yaam Yen) such as steamed fish with curry(Hor-Mok) ,traditional Thai dessert,Pat-Thai(a dish of stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, fish sauce,tamarind juice, red chilli pepper, plus combination of shrimp with crushed peanuts) etc...







Another beautiful handmade working was the coconut-shell lanterns.I thought it was very creative idea to do this handmade things.

When we finish shopping at the floating market , the sunset begun ,and that time the Fireflies will appear

Fireflies were appeared as a tiny bright spot in the same as the starlight,we could find the Fireflies around Cork Trees(Sonneratia caseolaris,Laam-poo) along the Mae Klong River.It was very difficult to took a photo of Fireflies, but I have a photo from the boat for you to see.



The Amphawa floating market located at samut songkhram, very close to Bangkok.I think it's one interesting place to visit in Thailand,if you have any holiday time.

Thai-houses resort at Baan Amphawa Resort and Spa,on the bank of Mae Klong River ,Thailand

Last year My family had a trip to Samut Songkhram,on the bank of Mae Klong River. The propose of this trip is to join the group on the boat ,to observe Fireflies (very famous creature of Mae Klong River)

We choosed "Baan Amphawa Resort & Spa" because the unique rooms that different from other resorts,the Thai-house-style rooms.

These was my family's room.



Inside the room





This resort was very comfortable and located nearby Bangkok. After check-in , We went for dinner at the "Amphawa Floating market" , I will review about this market in the next blog.

Ancient city,Samut Prakan :Thailand journey within one day.

          Last year I went to the ancient city,Samut Prakan with my family,that trip was the second time of my family to the Ancient city(Thai language = Moung Boran),My family like to go to the Ancient city very much."Just a visit to the Ancient City is comparable to a Thailand journey within one day".I think I appreciated the classic lifestyle and cultures in the past,people was kind and friendly,The most happiness of all,my family was in this trip together.

          If you want to visit the Ancient city,don't forget to use hats and sunscreen.

          I like almost totally of this place but my favorite point that I recommend is
- The floating market : I like to sit on the thaistyle floating-house and eating lunch or dinner on the wooden table.
- Sala of Ten Reincarnations : Very beautiful place
- The Footprint of the Lord Buddha
- Sanphet Prasat Palace

The Ancient city located at Samut Prakan, very close to Bangkok.I think it's one interesting place to visit in Thailand,if you have any holiday time.
